After the showcase, guests are invited to join us on the dance floor for a beginner-friendly Rumba lesson taught by our professionals, followed by a social dance where everyone can practice, connect, and enjoy an evening of dancing together. Whether you are an experienced dancer, a current student, or someone who has always wanted to try ballroom dancing, the EdanSe Affaire is the perfect opportunity to experience the joy of dance in a welcoming environment.

A Night to Remember in a Historic Ballroom

The EdanSe Affaire is more than a performance — it is a celebration of the passion, dedication, and artistry that have shaped EdanSe Company & Ballroom.

Founded by world-class professional dancers and instructors Sara Schilling and Evgueni Chaoulski, EdanSe brings decades of competitive experience, international achievements, and a lifelong passion for teaching to every student and every performance. Alongside fellow professional instructor Joanne Lapierre, they share their knowledge and love of dance with students of all ages and experience levels.

The celebration takes place inside EdanSe’s beautiful historic studio located at 127 Pearl Street in Enfield. Originally built in 1874 by the Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Company as employee housing, the building has been part of Enfield’s history for more than 150 years. Today, this beautifully transformed space is home to a spacious hardwood ballroom where countless memories, friendships, and dance journeys have been created.

More Than a Performance — Experience Ballroom Dancing Yourself

One of the things that makes the EdanSe Affaire unique is that it invites guests to become part of the experience. After watching our professionals perform, you will have the opportunity to learn some steps yourself during our Rumba lesson.

Rumba is often considered one of the best dances for beginners because of its clear rhythm, beautiful movement, and approachable structure.

Our instructors will guide you through the basics so that even someone who has never danced before can step onto the floor and participate. Following the lesson, the ballroom opens for a social dance, giving guests the chance to try their new skills, dance with others, and enjoy the atmosphere of a real ballroom social event.

No previous dance experience is required. No partner is required. Just bring your enthusiasm and your willingness to have fun!
